Our room was a great jumping off place for the Redwoods to the south and the Oregon coast to the north. Ken, owner/manager was hospitable and knowledgeable of both the town of Brookings and the beauties of the area. H

e was very easy to locate if we needed something. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There's even wifi. Flower gardens surrounding the parking area were colorful splashes whether it was misty or sunny. 눉Very noisy neighbors but that had nothing to do with the motel itself 눇Dog friendly with potty area 눇when I asked at the last minute if they had any extra roll in beds, they did and the front desk guy brought rite over to our room and it was very inexpensive. they have bath and body products. 눇Very clean and quiet. Office called to confirm reservation and checked us in over the phone! V 눉Mattress could have been a little bit softer for me. But by no means terrible! :)눇Staff was so very nice!! 눉Smoking in next room눇Courtesy and friendliness of the staff 눉My room was next to a mechanical room, annoying noises at infrequent times.눇Convenient location, comfortable room, very nice staff. 눇We rented a pet room and it had brand new laminate flooring !!! hat a perfect idea. We always travel with our dog and we have never rented a room without the nasty carpet. Should be done everywhere. They also gave us extra sheets to cover the spread which enabled us to worry less about the dog and us. V 눉Shower was awful...worst ever. Tiny, and the hand held shower head kept falling out of its holder. One could break a toe if it fell on your foot.
