Today’s RagaMuffins are distinctly different than the Ragdolls.RagaMuffin cats possess a sweet, outgoing and friendly temperament.  They love humans, and prefer a tummy rub to a snack.  These characteristics make them excellent companions for children and the elderly.    Their coats are described as “rabbit-fur” and are mat resistant.

Serendippity is a proud member of The RagaMuffin Kitten Breeders Society.
The RagaMuffin Kitten Breeders Society is a group of RagaMuffin breeders dedicated to breeding authentic RagaMuffins, preserving the sweet "teddy bear" look, while adhering to a Code of Ethics concerning breeding practices that is strictly enforced. I am also a member of the RagaMuffin Associated Group (RAG), the parent club of the RagaMuffin, founded in 1994. If I do not have the kitten you are looking for, I will happily refer you to another breeder, in the hopes of finding your "Purr-fect" kitten. Originally, when ACFA was the only cat registry that recognized the RagaMuffin, my cattery choice was Serendipity. That name was taken, and I was crushed. With the addition of an extra "P" they allowed me to use the name. When we gained registry in CFA, years later, they would not allow me to use Serendippity. It was to closely linked to another cattery. So GentlePurrs was the name I chose to use as my CFA cattery name. Kitten from my cattery will either be registered as Serendippity or GentlePurrs.
