Costs for our facility include payroll for these employees, good quality food for the animals, heat and air conditioning, medical treatment for sickness or injury. Additional costs for the animals always include vaccinations, deworming, microchipping and sterilization before leaving the shelter to go to new homes. Our vet bills are high and frequently expenses are far more than the adoption fee of $100. Therefore donations are hugely appreciated! He still had 4 baby teeth that were loose and rotten so those were pulled. They sent him home on nutri-cal, some antibiotics, some diarrhea meds, and stomach anti acid.
