This breed is often referred to as the living teddy bear, excellent family dogs.The Giant Schnoodle is increasingly becoming known as the walking companion.  For women who walk for exercise and are now taking the Giant Schnoodle along The Giant Schnoodle is the longest living of the hybrid breedsand is known to have the fewest health issues.  They are also known for their glossy and extremely shiny soft wavy coat.The Giant Schnoodle is created by breeding the purebred Giant Schnauzer to the purebred Standard Poodle.The Giant Schnoodle is a non drooling and non shedding hypoallergenic dog.

By choosing the Komondor over the poodle we did not lose size we gained hybrid vigor achieved a non drooling Newfoundland.

The Newfkom is quickly moving into the number one position for therapy dog in the USA.The Newfkom is a non shedding and non drooling hypoallergenic dog. At Feathers And Fleece Farm we have been using the Komondor to protect our farm for many years. We have two huge females in our home to watch over our family.  To huge females in our whelping house to protect our puppies.Two huge males in our main kennel barn to watch over all of the other dogs.We have one female that runs our acreage to protect the farm.The Komondor is a very large working dog 27 -29", that is very motherly. The Komondor is very friendly to those they have been introduced to, withone of the longest memories recorded by researchers.  The Komondor is the only known working dog that will not leave what it is protecting andwould gladly give her life for those she is protecting.  This has earned the Komondor the highest position among farmers as well as the rich and famous.  It is a breed that will love with all of its beingand willing to protect with every ounce of her soul.

Feathers and Fleece Farm began back in the 90s as an wholesale gift herb farm that just so happened to have beautiful Great Pyrenees and Old English Sheepdogs roaming the gardens.We also raised Sheep and show Silkie chickens.  I failed terribly as a shepherd, and anyone that has ever raised show chickens will tell you it is far more work than words can describe.  Clients that were coming to buy sheep would ask me if they could get on my list to buy a working dog. That is how it started.  Nothing planned, just Gods plan. I was raised on a farm.  We had dogs....several dogs. In fact I can never remember a time in my life when I did not have a dog  (correction, several dogs) I have always had both purebred and rescues. 

It never really mattered to me as long as they were calm and loving. This was the rule in my mother's home. Everyone must get along, or your out!  That was her famous quote to my brothers and I.   The rule stood true for the dogs as well.Growing up on a farm in Central Indiana, we had Poodles inside and German Shepherds outside. My mother insisted that these were the two smartest dog breeds.  These breeds were working dogs on our farm. The German Shepherds guarded the farm and the Poodles watched over the home.  To this day I think that was one of the greatest gifts my parents gave me. A dog to cuddle when life was sad, when my heart was broken, when I would watch a scary movie, when I did my homework, and when I did my happy dance.  My dogs were always there for me.  So it should come as no surprise that by the time I married my husband I had four dogs. Three rescues and one purebred poodle. I was fortunate to have found a man that loves dogs as much as I do.  Today we own a large farm filled with Old retired dogs, rescues and purebred Old English Sheepdogs, Standard Poodles, Giant Schnauzers, Komondors and a few Newfoundlands.We have fenced in close to 20 acres for our dogs to enjoy all life has to offer, including three water gardens,a large lake, a huge woods, open fields, walking paths, and beautiful gardens.

Nearly every penny brought in at Feathers And Fleece Farm goes back into the farm. We have an on site vet facility with an attending licensed veterinarian,who preforms complete health screenings and OFAs on all of our breeding stock.Dr Dwight Bradford 812 754 0341 for reference. Feathers And Fleece also breeds the rare Komondor breed, but only once every couple years.  The Giant Schnoodle is the new working dog of the future.  At Feathers And Fleece we recognize that families want an intelligent dog that can be both watch dog and family pet inside the home.
