This resort needed renovation years ago. The exterior is very shabby in places. We were pleasantly surprised by our unit, 521. We had 1 bedroom and two baths. It had clearly been upgraded and we were very comfortable there. The bed was very comfortable, the baths were large. One had a shower and one a tub. Stayed in 4 person efficiency with sofa bed and murphy bed. Beds were better than expected. Room was just what we needed. Kitchen was updated and clean. Pool/tiki bar very fun. Would definitely stay here again. The only issue we had was due to outside construction underway (which we... When making the reservation over the phone I would have appreciated a heads up regarding the concrete restoration project going on. Atleast the jackhammering only went on from 9am to 4pm. I could not imagine staying in one of the rooms in the main building with the work going on. Relaxing by the pool is always... Of the past 8 years of trading our timeshare this was the worst resort we have ever stayed in. There are NO NON SMOKING AREAS even inside the pool area.

We had trouble staying away from excessive smokers while we sat at the pool. It appeared that locals could come in the area and use the facilities. I've been coming here for 30 years . Good location & great family times but they need to keep up on the repairs at this resort . I called 3 separate occasions for my shower to be repaired : no water pressure , shower head was clogged with pink mold & just needed replaced , thinks we're making from my... This was our second stay at LHC and it was even better than the first trip. The rooms, as always, are clean and well appointed. We stayed in Suite 108 next to the pool. While I enjoyed the convenience, I really miss the view of a higher lever and will try next time to get that. i can think of no better place to relax with the family. Thank you for your hospitality. “The best value in southern florida” Stayed for 2 days the first week in April. The room was absolutely disgusting, look like it had not been vacuumed in a long time. Most of the windows did not work , the ones that did work, needed a piece of wood to hold it open. (See pics) were very dirty, there was something gross on the chair in... We stayed at the LC for a family spring break and had a good time. We were not surprised by what the room was like. We own a gold crown through RCI and this is not a gold crown resort so we knew it would not be as nice as other resorts.
