Shatford's site evaluated the most successful Airbnb listings in all 50 states -- plus Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico -- by looking at which properties had the highest revenue from November 2014 through February 2015.

These properties also had to have a rating of more than 4.5 stars and at least 10 reviews, except in the case of North Dakota, where the leading properties with 4.5 stars had a maximum of 8 reviews.
