Donate to Hound Rescue using PayPal Daisy is a 7-year-old beagle girl who is house-, crate-, and leash-trained. Daisy is very friendly and doing great in the foster home with two other beagles and two cats. She enjoys playing with her foster beagle sisters and taking naps to restore her energy. Daisy loves outside activities: hiking and going for walks around the neighborhood, not to mention climbing trees – her own special talent! She is food motivated, and appreciates treats very much. She also loves playing with her human foster brother and lived with children in her previous home as well. Daisy is well-behaved and does not require close supervision. She is a very sweet and loving girl with a beautiful happy smile on her face.

Daisy deserves the best and is waiting for a special family to call her own! Lacey is a friendly, easygoing 8-year-old beagle. She was an only dog in her previous home, but gets along great with the four other dogs in her foster home, as well as the two cats. Lacey loves playing with her stuffed toys, and likes to walk around the house with one hanging out of her mouth – so cute! Lacey is quite hefty right now, but is already losing weight. Despite the extra pounds, this girl can get around – and has even proven to be a bit of a door-dasher! She loves walks (although we have to keep them short right now) and enjoys checking out the backyard, taking breaks for some vigorous backscratching in the grass. With continued weight loss, we expect her to become even more active. Lacey has the sweetest face with large brown eyes that will just melt your heart! Joey is a 11 years young beagle/cocker mix looking for his forever home! Don't let his age fool you; he's still an energetic dog who can chase a ball for hours.

Joey's previous owner raised him since he was a puppy, but unfortunately had to go to a nursing home when she could no longer take care of him. Joey craves attention, loves to snuggle, and is an excellent lap dog. He's used to being the king of the castle and will need a patient and loving home willing to work with him and his strong sense of ownership over toys and treats. He is house trained, walks well on a leash, gets along well with dogs and cats, and would do best in a home with no children. If you're looking for an energetic and lovable dog, Joey might be the guy for you! No children under 10 Sometimes we come across a dog that pulls on our heartstrings. In this case it was a bonded pair of girls, Julie and Faith. These ladies were owner surrendered by an owner that could no longer care for them. Faith and Julie are a team; where one goes the other follows! These sweet girls love to just hang out and chill. Food, water, soft beds and some cuddles are all these gals need.

However, couch privileges are appreciated. These seniors are heartworm positive and too aged for typical treatment. We are hoping to find just the right place for the lovely ladies to spend their remaining years. Oh, no cats please.Bree is a typical puppy, life is all about playing. This little ball of energy loves toys, wrestling and playing chase. She is dog door trained, but we are still working on potty training. With the help of other foster dogs she is learning boundaries. Leash walking is a work in-progress. This sweet girl is expert level at snuggle time and loves to give puppy kisses. Bree will need someone willing to finish her house and manners training - nothing unusual, just puppy reality! Snoop is a super expressive character that loves to interact with people and other dogs. He's very vocal with little grumbles when he's settling in for a nap and lots of classic beagle howling at play time. Snoop love's mixing it up with other dogs, especially playing keepaway and also loves a good cuddle.

Couches and pillows are his favorite for napping. He does some adorable stretching and scratching routines when he wakes up in the morning. If you want a real show grab a laser pointer and watch him chase the dot around howling all the way. Like many a beagle Snoop is always on the hunt for something to eat and he's not afraid to pull something out of a waste basket if he can reach it so your house may need a little Snoop proofing. He's ok on a leash but tends to pull and get's excited when other dogs are around. Snoop does not respond well to harsh corrections or threatening behavior so you'll need to have some patience when he gets out of line. All and all he's a sweet guy with a little mischievous streak who just wants love and to be a part of whatever's going on. Free: full body hugs! Tessa, a 3-year-old bassett/beagle mix, is willing to sit on your lap and lay her head on your shoulder. Her long body and short legs allow her to melt into you. She is a companion dog - wants to be with you wherever you go.
